Life Groups
Our various small group ministries meet in private homes
in our community or at the church throughout each month.
Champion Forest Area Life Group:
This Life Group meets every other Friday at 7:00 pm.We will be using a DVD study by Tommy Nelson, called "A Life Well Lived". It's an in-depth study of Ecclesiastes. The first session is called: "The Question of the Ages". We will also use a the study guide that accompanies this DVD. Take this journey into Ecclesiastes where Tommy Nelson will unlock the keys to discover God's wisdom via Solomon's journey for making A LIFE WELL LIVED. Along with the study, this group enjoys fellowship and a meal together and there is a time for personal prayer concerns. Call Jim or Rosalie for more information.
Klein Area Life Group:
This group meets at 7 p.m. twice a month on Saturdays. We are currently studying a book called "What is Truth?" It is written by Paul Copan and Mark Linville and it is part of a series edited by Ravi Zacharias. The series is published by IVP Connect and RZIM. The other books in the series are "Can I Trust the Bible?", "Is God Real?" and "Who Was Jesus?" We might pursue those studies, also, if we enjoy this one. Contact Dan or Kris A for more information.
Women's Ministry Life Groups
Women of all ages are encouraged to join the Women of Hope for fun, fellowship and food for both the body and soul, on the 2nd Monday of each month. This Group meets in a different hostesses homes each month. Welcome time is at 7:00 pm and dinner will begin shortly thereafter. Our Christ centered program will begin around 8:00 pm. Plus, we have special programs and outings thoughout the year that are guaranteed to be very enjoyable!! Please join us!!
Ladies Morning Bible Study: This fall we will be studying
This fall we will be studying Stepping Up~a journey through the Psalms of Ascent by Beth Moore. This study explores Psalms 120-134. Three times a year, the ancient Israelites traveled to the temple in Jerusalem. Now it's our turn. Join us for this in depth study of the Psalms of Ascent. We meet at 9:30 for coffee, etc... and then on to the study. We wrap up the last hour of our time together with a video presentation. Please join us. You won't be disappointed. Ladies Evening Bible Study:
This Ladies Bible Study meets bi-weekly on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm and the study this season is A Heart Like His Seeking the Heart of God Through a Study of David by Beth Moore. They will meet in the home of Linda W just 10 mins. from church in the Memorial NW Subdivision in Spring, TX 77379. Come study with us! Dinner and fellowship precede study each week. Craft Night Ministry:
Women (and once in a while, men) come together to work on craft projects that they just couldn't allot the time to finish at home. Bring up your craft projects, needle points, quiltings, scrap books, anything you can tote. We can work together, talk a little and laugh a lot.
Men's Ministry Life Groups
The Men's Breakfast:
The men of Hope meet at 8:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month in the Fellowship Hall. All men are invited for breakfast, fellowship and a program or devotional. New this season, the men are planning Fellowship Outings. They will be doing "Manly Things". For more information contact Kevin H. or Brad C.
Men's Evening Bible Study:
This men's bible study meets every Thursday Evening in the Champions/1960 area. All men are encouraged to come and be a part of this important ministry. For more information contact Brian F.
